Personal Statement:
I grew up wanting to be an architect. I completed an internship at an architectural firm in high school, which opened my eyes to the field. After my internship, I came home realizing that I love architecture, but I am not sure if I want to be an architect. I had other interests that I wanted to explore before I committed to a field. I found Salve and explored my interests in languages, culture, politics and global issues. I knew I wanted to help people, but I wasn't sure what that looked like in careers. My study abroad experience, my internship in Chile and my senior capstone led to my global career in education. I learned that I love working with students and helping them explore themselves and their interests.
