Professional Experience:

I have been an attorney for over 30 years, working both in the private practice of law and in the Massachusetts judiciary. I am a recognized expert in the area of court administration and serve on a committee dealing with race and justice issues with the National Center of State Courts.

I have taught in the criminal justice field for almost 30 years at both the undergraduate and graduate level. My particular areas of interest in criminal justice involve wrongful convictions, criminal law and procedure, court administration and cyber law and cyber crime. I enjoy teaching online and the opportunities that it presents for student engagement.
