Research Interests:

My master's thesis and doctoral dissertation research focused on implementing a STEM-focused nutrition education program to youth from low-income, urban families in Rhode Island. Throughout this process, I gained knowledge in implementation science, nutrition education, childhood education and working with underserved populations. Through this research, I aim to increase access to healthy foods and nutrition education for all people, regardless of income level.

Personal Statement:

As campus nutrition leader and adjunct faculty, I aim to provide basic nutrition knowledge to students. Additionally, I counsel students to help them reach their nutrition-related goals and ensure a safe dining environment for students with dietary restrictions. I am passionate about nutrition education and counseling students through a size inclusive approach.
